Item Number 06 is a Wootz steel belt knife. The single edged blade is  10 1/2" in length, hand forged from our own Crucible Wootz steel. This is a unique material and it is  the "Original Damascus steel". The one piece blackened "bovine ivory" grip has phosphor bronze guard, pommel plate and studs.

As you can see the grain structure in the steel is quite fine. Every bar of this material is unique and one of a kind. It is a very "intense" material to work and presents numerous challenges.. However the results are worth it!

With an overall length of 16 1/4" this belt knife comes with a black leather sheath. This is a very NICE knife indeed!
