Item No 05 is a gorgeous Wootz  Kard. The single edged recurved blade is 10 1/4" in length and is forged from our own true crucible steel, aka Wootz. The grip is impala horn with file worked phosphor bronze bolster and pommel plats This is a "wicked" looking knife and it just feels a little bit "evil" in the hand.

As you can see the crystalline structure of the steel is quite fine and very interesting. This is a  challenging material to make and even more so to forge to shape and heat treat without mishap but the results are awe inspiring . Very unique and  one of a kind blades.

With an overall length of 16 1/2" this unique piece comes witha black leather sheath. Ready to go!
