An update!! This fall I enter my 50th year in Bladesmithing! What a ride it has been so far...and I wish to thank all that have supported me over the years and well..I am not planning on quitting any time soon so here's to whatever the future may hold!!

Which brings us to this: NEW ITEMS!

Finally I am up and running and the first few "Florida Made" blades are up and available on my in stock pages. These are NICE pieces and honestly..I am feeling it as far as the down time I had moving and building our new studio... However these blades turned out GREAT even though they did take a bit longer to make than usual thanks to my being a bit "rusty". Worry not..I am well on the way to bouncing back to my usual cantankerous self..  So take a peak and see what's new/// More blades are on the way....

As always if you have any questions, or wish any additional photos, simply ask..I will do my best to address your inquiries..

THANK YOU ALL for 50 years of adventure...

An update and a great one at that!!  WE ARE BACK UP AND RUNNING...Although it took us about twice as long as we anticipated due to various things that popped up outside of our control we are FINALLY back up and running.

All of our equipment is in and working..we have everything under control and I am trying to replace the stolen materials and tooling that was taken from the storage in Nevada as best as I can but we are operational and I am finally back to swinging a hammer. Now what does this mean?

This means that I will be posting new items, more pattern welded blades both large and small and everything in between. More of everything else simply due to the fact that I need everything else like high carbon knives, swords, daggers as well as war hammers and welded cable items as well... I am also back to filling the last several orders that were taken before we left Nevada and these are back in the queue to go!!

Also I have another Japanese sword prototype that I did for book IV that I will list this evening..I will put a post up when it is all set. It is a gorgeous Chisa Katana..a Gen III sword..

All in all it has been one Hell of a ride and with the help and support of those generous folks we MADE IT!!  THANK YOU all for your support and concern.. I appreciate that greatly and I will never, ever forget it!..

THANK YOU all once again!

As mentioned earlier here is the update...

First: Studio news.

I have finished installing the insulation and have started on the work benches..

As you can see there is a lot of aluminium  foil backed insulation on the walls..It does make things brighter inside as well as keeping the temp bearable and the noise down a good bit.  After the benches are done..it will be tool racks and shelves..

We also took delivery of our first outbuilding. This will be for wood, antler, horn and leather storage.. We need two more.

So that is the status of the studio...

Now onto the other news.. I am stalled as far as funding goes..  Again here is my go fund me page..please spread it around..

I am so close to being finished and back to work...the more folks that know..the better the chances are of me meeting the goal I need to meet. Which brings us to this...

NEW PRICES on my sale and I extended the date until Midnight of June 12th. I know I have but a handful of pieces left but now is the time.. So take a look..and please..make an offer if you wish...

So..that is all that's new for now..

As always..if you have any questions, by all means please feel free to ask...

THANK YOU for your time..

First an update...we are just about complete on the new studio facilities.. The building is up..water and power are in and they both work..We just poured the front apron/walkway and the isolation pads for my heavy machines..

What is left is erecting the two out buildings for material storage as well as insulate the studio walls,  put in the shelves/tool racks and build the work benches.. which leads me to this...

Here are some "work in progress" photos...

Here is the "Trench From HELL"....what should of taken 45 minutes or so to dig took close to 3 hours thanks to all these roots..

The start of the electric work..lights.. 110/120 and 220/240 circuits started

The isolation pad..I still need to dig down about 3 feet and throw in some rebar and then pour the separate pad...This prevents the whole building from shaking from the power hammer impacts...

Here is the outside of our new studio. I still had to pour the apron and walkway..which I did this weekend.... However...

I am about 2500 $$ US short due to cost over runs..It was much worse than that but I started a go fund me page last month and it showed me how many folks I have touched with my writing and work.. The comments were very humbling and I simply had no idea that I had such an impact.. I will be forever grateful to those generous folks...THANK YOU!!

Here is the page...please if you can spread the page around to folks you know...I would appreciate it greatly!!

We are so close to being able to finish but I am running out of funds...which brings me to the SALE!!

I know I only have a handfull of pieces left for sale..but they are some very NICE pieces..So in honour of Memorial Day as well as my running out of funding..I am holding a sale.. Sale prices are in effect from Midnight, Saturday, May 26 2018 until Midnight on  Friday, June 1 2018. Now these prices are a bit flexible and just to make things interesting...I will also entertain best offers... So please take a look at what is left and if you are interested..let me know..  I am in a bit of a bind here. If I can get over this bump I can be back up and running in about 4 weeks...once I get my equipment from Nevada.  So..please take a look...

As always..if you have any questions or would like to additional photos of any of the pieces, please, feel free to ask.

Thank you for your interest in us here at Salamander Armoury..it is GREATLy appreciated..
